Stako Engineering specialises in the manufacturing and design of standard and custom truck bodies and trailers as well as repairs and general engineering works. Stako Engineering specialises in the manufacture and design of standard and custom truck bodies and trailers. Servicing Mpumalanga and surrounding provinces, we also offer repair services to damaged trucks and trailers as well as other general engineering works and consulting. We have recently moved into the plant industry for manufacture, modifications and repairs on Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) buckets, excavator buckets, sugar cane grabs as well as timber grabs. With 2000 square metres of covered workshop facilities, we can offer services to any projects involving general engineering works and metal fabrication. Our workshop is equipped with three, 5 ton overhead cranes allowing for the easy maneuverability and assembly of projects large and small. The demanding industry has led Stako Engineering to develop heavy-duty truck bodies and trailers that utilize high quality materials, construction standards in accordance with SABS and equipment guaranteeing reliability. Stako Engineering (Pty) Ltd provides a standard warranty for its products against defects in material and workmanship for periods defined below, subject to exclusions, from the time the unit is first placed in service. Load bodies and trailers must be subjected to an annual inspection by a competent person and all mechanical damage or extraordinary wear must be maintained to Stako Engineering (Pty) Ltd specification. Systems and components must be serviced and maintained according to normal vehicle maintenance norms and specific maintenance focus areas defined in the vehicle maintenance manual.
