We function under two headings: first and most important is the marginalized and destitute (Individual specialized services) and then our ever supporting community and like-minded organizations (Community specialized services) thru MPUMALANGA LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION. Raising awareness in the church, business, education and wider community regarding the needs of the marginalized and the destitute. Establishing informed relationships with the above stakeholders with the aim of facilitating their involvement. Distribute material resources received for the benefit of the wider community. (Being a material resource center for the community) Facilitating the response of those who have benefited through Nelspruit Community Forum to give back through service to the community. The relationship with different organizations in and around Mbombela is on a demand & supply platform. Nelspruit has always been a catch basin for the surrounding areas providing opportunities linking resources. NCF realizes that in this is an opportunity to contribute towards community development and empowerment and wants to use every possible opportunity to facilitate reconciliation, regeneration and rehabilitation serving the Mbombela geographical area. C ounselling and personal support, identifying and referring for rehabilitation, trauma support, facilitating work opportunities. Spiritual reconciliation, Prayer support, Devotional meetings. Mentoring, Conflict management, Emotional management, Personal financial management. Our Vision is to be a highly effective, specialised people-caring organisation, facilitating the participation of all relevant stakeholders in the community, based on Christian principles and teaching. Our mission is to demonstrate the heart of God by providing meaningful interventions amongst the marginalised and destitute, assisting them to become functional members of society. To establish, develop and maintain an active inner and inter-city partnership towards social regeneration and integration, serving with excellence in Nelspruit and Mpumalanga. NCF was established in 2004 in response to the many people living on and from the streets of Mbombela, a geographical area in Mpumalanga (province of South Africa). Knowing that a collective and central service point will benefit the society in broad; NCF started operations. Indirect beneficiaries are the local city and town communities, who also benefit from a constructive approach towards homelessness. Partners and potential partners are the homeless community themselves, the churches, other service agencies, NGO’s and community forums, the City of Nelspruit, the National and Provincial Departments of Social Development, Health, Housing and Public Works, the SAPS, the HSRC (Human Science Research Council), and local businesses.
