Studio e-Design has a team of architectural technologists and an architect with a passion for good architecture and excellent service. Studio e-Design was formed out of a need to respond to Government’s long term goal of eradicating poverty and eliminating inequality. We see ourselves being relevant in the processes of physical development as underpinning element to poverty alleviation and national economic growth. Studio e-Design plans to add value in current day South Africa with a bias for community-based development. Studio e-Design plans to transform the environment through architecture by delivering a quality service and using innovative ideas that will embrace the future e.g. Studio e-Design is in a position to offer an architectural service that is unique and people-centered from inception to completion. We see ourselves highly relevant at the implementation level of both private sector and government’s strategy, with particular reference to the Provincial Growth and Development Strategy (PGDS). We believe that from our experience in implementation, we would have much to offer at strategic planning level, especially when it comes to both private sector and government’s infrastructural investments. Proper planning coupled with efficient implementation, would kick start job creation, better social-welfare systems and improved governance. We believe the vehicle towards this is the development of settlements with adequate housing and associated facilities. We at Studio e-Design would like to see ourselves as being catalysts in the architectural development process in our environment, especially within the private sector, government and municipalities. Either by design or default, we are poised to make a difference as development professionals in the lives of the communities we interact with.
