AFRTS offers a comprehensive and intensive Field Ranger training program to all agencies charged with the responsibility for the managing and conserving of wildlife resources in Africa. AFRTS has been endorsed as the training arm of the GRAA and has long served as a preferred training provider for the. These training interventions involved major parks and reserves in the Southern and West African region. Wise and sustainable management and utilization of natural resources for the benefit of present and future generations, ensuring and maintaining bio diversity. which are required for their organization as well as their preferred training locality. The staff at AFRTS will carry out both mid-course and final assessments. Follow-up inspections are made periodically to ensure that the Field Rangers maintain the standards established according to the African Training Initiative (ATI) of the GRAA and re-training should be conducted on a bi-annual basis if required.
